There's no amount of denial or rejection of Hamas by Abdul that will appease these people. That trap by AIPAC has fallen flat because people are finally waking up. Also, Mike Rogers voted in September 2012 for a government funding measure that continued U.S. assistance to Egypt while Mohamed Morsi, a Muslim Brotherhood politician, was president. A 2026 report by the Detroit Metro Times identifies that vote and notes that the assistance supported Egyptian state institutions, including the military.
