@exploresleepyhollow: The fall colors are really starting to show off in Sleepy Hollow and Tarrytown right now! 🍁🍂😍 If you’re planning a visit to Sleepy Hollow, NY to catch the fall foliage, late October through early November is typically one of the best times to see all those beautiful fall colors around town! And while you can catch some pretty amazing views just driving along Route 9, there are so many great spots to get out and enjoy the scenery! 🍁 Some of our favorite spots for fall foliage around Sleepy Hollow & Tarrytown: 📍 Kingsland Point Park – Beautiful Hudson River views and waterfront walking paths 📍 Rockefeller State Park Preserve – Miles of scenic carriage trails surrounded by fall colors 📍 Tarrytown Lakes – A great spot for a peaceful fall walk through the woods and along the water 📍 Old Dutch Church & Burying Ground – Gorgeous historic grounds with plenty of fall foliage in different stages of changing colors. As always, please be respectful when visiting! 📍 Headless Horseman Bridge – A great photo op with some beautiful fall foliage! It can get pretty crowded this time of year, but it’s definitely worth checking out. 🍂 A little local tip: If you’re looking to avoid some of the October crowds, I highly recommend visiting in early November! It’s typically much quieter around town, and you’ll still get to enjoy one of my favorite things about Sleepy Hollow this time of year: the beautiful fall foliage. It’s just as beautiful without all the Halloween crowds! And another reason to plan a November visit?
