Why It’s Not Kyrie’s Fault
First of all, I don’t think it’s fair to blame Kyrie for losing the ball because people aren’t thinking about what could have happened on the field. Sometimes the ground can be messed up, uneven, slippery, or have holes in it. When somebody is running full speed, it doesn’t take much for their footing to get messed up. People need to understand that not everything that happens during a game is somebody’s fault.
Another reason Kyrie could have lost the ball is because the field conditions might not have been good. If the grass was wet, muddy, or uneven, it could have made it harder to keep control of the ball. Even the smallest bump in the ground could throw somebody off balance. Kyrie could have been doing everything right, but the condition of the field could have played a big part in what happened.
People also need to understand that football is a fast game. Players are moving, changing directions, getting hit, and trying to make plays in just a few seconds. Kyrie doesn’t have complete control over the condition of the field or everything happening around them. It’s easy for people watching to say what somebody should have done, but it’s different when you’re actually out there playing.
At the end of the day, I don’t think everybody should automatically blame Kyrie for losing the ball. The ground conditions could have played a major role in what happened, and that’s something people should consider before judging. One mistake doesn’t define a player, and one play doesn’t erase all the hard work somebody has put in. Before blaming Kyrie, people need to look at the whole situation instead of just the fumble.
