I’m so sorry you are going through this but I’m also so glad I found your videos because they help me feel less alone in my own grief. I feel EXACTLY the same about it getting dark earlier. I’ve been asking myself, “what will I do when the crickets are gone?”,when it is silent and dark outside my window? I’m terrified of this first winter without my son too. ❤️

The algorithm deposited me here a few weeks ago and keeps bringing me back to your story. I haven’t lost a child, but was born into a family that’s experienced far more than its fair (what even is fair…) share of tragic, untimely losses. I’m also a music teacher who teaches children Keaton’s age and he sounds absolutely amazing, the kind of kid I would love to have in class. Thank you for sharing him.

I know exactly what you mean by the change in time of day. The transition from day to night - something about the shift causes ptsd. I went through this when I lost my son. I also stopped in the middle of the street one day asking my husband if I would ever smile again, be happy again, live a happy life. It took time, but I did find joy again in life.

Always say Keaton’s name❤️i do it everyday I didn’t loose a child,but my boyfriend (30years) but Michael passed away in the Cardiologist’s office we just went to do a follow up and Michael was gone❤️❤️❤️but a child I couldn’t imagine ❤️❤️❤️❤️
