That’s quite interesting actually. Of course, her hands are meant to invoke sewing needles for the opening scene. But in actuality, she’s just a stop motion puppet armature with no extra layers on her limbs. Her design is LITERALLY falling apart in the stop motion style, being reduced to nothing but her inner workings. That’s actually super cool
