I get so angry when topics like this come up I feel so robbed of my culture, history and teachings having been born in a Christian household now as an adult seeing how disconnected and lost ive been having to reconnect with myself , nature and ancestors literally going in it blind all thanks to people who came us saying our practices are demonic and now we must worship a white man 😤

Before you start dating him, ask him these 6 questions 1. “WHAT EXACTLY ARE YOU LOOKING FOR RIGHT NOW?” Don’t be scared to ask this one. Some men are looking for a wife. Some want a girlfriend. Some just want somebody to keep them company while they figure out their life. Don’t start dating him hoping your love will change his mind. Find out what he wants before you start giving him what he wants. 2. “WHAT DOES CHEATING MEAN TO YOU?” Don’t assume you both have the same definition. To you, cheating may be sleeping with someone else. To him, it may be something completely different. Ask him. Let him talk. Because you don’t want to discover his definition of loyalty after you are already in love. 3. “HOW DO YOU HANDLE MONEY?” This one is not about being materialistic. Money affects everyday life, especially when a relationship becomes serious. Ask how he saves, spends, handles debt and what he believes a couple should contribute. Because a man can be sweet, handsome and romantic, but if his relationship with money is completely different from yours, you may eventually be fighting about money instead of love. 4. “WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU ARE ANGRY?” This question can tell you plenty. Does he talk? Does he need space? Does he insult people? Does he disappear? Does he become aggressive? Don’t only watch how a man treats you when he is happy. Watch how he behaves when things don’t go his way. Respectful conflict and communication are important parts of a healthy relationship. 5. “DO YOU WANT CHILDREN, AND WHAT KIND OF FAMILY DO YOU WANT?” Don’t assume he will “come around later.” Ask him. Does he want children? How many? Where does he want to live? What does he think parenting should look like? These things may sound far away when you are still enjoying dates, but they become very close when the relationship gets serious. 6. “WHAT DOES A SERIOUS RELATIONSHIP LOOK LIKE TO YOU?” This one is deeper than “Do you love me?” Ask him what commitment means to him. Ask what he expects from a partner. Ask what he thinks a man should bring into a relationship and what he expects from the woman. Because somebody can say, “I want something serious,” and you both may have completely different ideas of what serious means. TAKEAWAY: Go back to number 1. Don’t be afraid to ask a man what he wants just because you are afraid his answer might disappoint you. The truth you hear before you fall in love is easier to handle than the truth you discover after you are already attached.
