Unpopular opinion as an OG MJ fan but I like John Branca. Some forget that he’s worked along side the late John Mcclain who’s worked for the family for years. JB worked for MJ on and off for decades. Branca has made lots of money for the estate. Even though, Paris is sober, she is not stable and is too concerned with trying to own and alienate her father’s fans. His other sons are more stable and level minded to run the estate along with John Branca.

Mj didn’t update his will because he didn’t plan on leaving so soon Because Jackson never updated his will during the remaining years of his life, the 2002 document remained legally binding. When Jackson rehired Branca on June 17, 2009—just eight days before his death—Branca was able to assume control of the estate as the designated co-executor based entirely on that same 2002 will. John was fired 242 days after the signing of the will on July 7th 2002
