@fadedentries: we were saying goodbye at the airport, which we've done a hundred times since he got the job in denver. usually it's a quick hug because people are watching. this time he pulled me back after i'd already turned around, and the kiss turned into us holding on to each other like we were trying to fold into one person. i had my hands in his jacket, he had his hand on the back of my neck, and for a second i forgot we were standing next to a baggage cart. that's my favorite feeling with him. when there's no space left and we still want more closeness. it's not something i ever had before. my last relationship felt polite. this feels like being wanted all the way. i walked to my gate grinning like an idiot. three more weeks until he's back.
