It’s actually so irritating. My nephews birthday is 10/30, so we once had a costume party. He wanted to invite a friend from school whose mother declined because they don’t “practice Halloween”. I told her he didn’t have to wear a costume because at the end of the day it’s a birthday party not a Halloween party - but keep excluding kids from enjoying their childhood ig 🤷🏻♀️
