Tuners tune on the drag strip. A 8 sec pass . Maybe 2 or 3

Real tuner would have adjusted Offset vs. Injector Tip Temperature to stop the "rich after reflash"

I’m a Coyote tuner, so this might only apply to Coyotes, but you shouldn’t have to wait 15–30 minutes after reflashing a GM ECU. If you disable LTFTs in your base file, the ECU will rely on STFTs and use the updated calibration. Then re-enable LTFTs once tuning is finished.

My tuner asks for 1 cold start idle log (~5mins), 15 mins city log, 15 mins freeway log, and 1 pull in 3rd log. Seems to work great.

After I flash it I drive it for 5 minutes or so then start logging. and the closer it gets to target the longer I drive it and watch the cells that stand out and see if they move or not

Why would you want an ecm that changes fuel trims after you change it? You'd get a different ecm.

this only works if they are using the gm ECU. A lot of people now use aftermarket ECU like holly fuel tech etc etc

michigan motorsports tells me 15 to 20 minutes everytime i use them. my logs I sent them are 45 to 60 minutes and never over 75% throttle until Zak says its ok... even tho I have a wideband in my truck and can understand what's going on from it and my laptop screen

yeah, my tuner had me do 15 minutes of like City stop& Go driving and then 15 minutes of highway/ interstate and then a third gear pool from 3,000 RPM to redline

to see what a tune does, dyno before and after. don't use the production hp numbers. after market dyno numbers are much higher than oem dynos.
