A client once brought her cat inside a laundry basket with a lid 💀 she didn’t have a carrier so it was the only thing she had on hand. it even had wheels

I work at an animal hospital and there is a client that brings her cat in a pillowcase… the cat loves it but it’s so strange

mine was leash trained, and so chill I'd just carry him around on my hip like this if he didn't wanna walk. and two, that's exactly how I brought him to the vet too.

I brought my cat in a laundry basket with a towel covered with a towel, the vets were all giggling at me

I had a client bring in a cat in two milk crates that were zip tied together. He said he didn’t bring extra zip ties so we couldn’t cut them to get the cat out 🙃

I crate trained my cat. Left the crate on the floor for two weeks before taking her to the vet, she sleeps in it sometimes :) it has no association to the vet for her so she just goes in it whenever

vet told me to wrap my kitten up in a rag bc she was like a week old. she is 14 months old and still lovess to cuddle with her vet rag. my big fattie just puts on a harness and i carry her in. ive trained her for two years now to try to handle crates. she screams and pees. harness, shes close to me and chill. so it could always be worse

I brought my 16 year old cat wrapped in blankets every time to the vet because she loved going (she had asthma and going to the vet meant shots but it also meant feeling better) so this was her while we waited for the vet every time just sitting on the bench with me

Once had someone bring their cat in one of these… no air holes… and it had printer paper taped on the side that said,” LIVE ANIMAL.” It was an interesting appointment 🤠

I brought my turtle in a beer box (the big ones that hold 4 6packs) lined with a towel. I looked silly sitting in the waiting area with a Bud Light box in my lap.

my kitten loves his carrier but it must be on his terms & he typically prefers his harness and leash

I had to buy carriers because nobody else would. I was like how would we bring them to the vet? “We’ll figure it out then.” I imagine this is what figuring it out would’ve looked like.

I work at a shelter and I had someone drop off a cat that had gotten into rat poison and is now wobbly due to neuro issues in a printer box at our door
