There are so many NEW THINGS to try every time I'm at @Cafe Seek , one of the best Asian bakeries in London, so here's my ranking of these 5 new items I've never tried before: 5. pain perdu (French toast) Pretty rich french toast very eggy and custardy like a bread and butter pudding- the raisins were also very flavourful 4. Salted Egg Yolk Taro Basque Cheesecake I like the salted egg pieces in the basque cheesecake add the salted egg topping which gave it good flavour, and this works well with the taro though the texture could be smoother creamier and have that signature oozy middle (like the other cafe seek basque cheesecake) 3. Takoyaki Focaccia ⭐ This was a lovely savoury surprise I really liked the soft fluffy focaccia topped with takoyaki flavour and the bonito flakes! 2. Creme Brulee Canele ⭐ This looked incredible and I knew I had to try it! Perfectly baked canele with a crispy exterior and a soft middle with a good amount of custard, including the top that is blowtorched for the caramelised finish. 1. Earl Grey Pillow ⭐ This was the lightest pastry it almost blew away it's super light and flaky and had a strong earl grey cream inside. Honestly I don't think I've had anything this flaky it literally blew my mind- when someone says flaky I will think of this pastry now 😆 Everything was good but the top three really pushed the boundary and showcased something incentive in flavour/texture! Can't wait to come back and try more new things next time! 📍 Cafe Seek, 2 Harbord Sq, Canary Wharf Estate, London E14 9QH #cafeseek #londonbakeries #asianbakery #londonfoodguide
