@samirroashan: Salaam to all my dear family and friends, After a long hiatus due to personal and musical endeavors, it brings me great joy to finally share something I’ve been working on for quite some time. The story behind the album’s title is simple yet deeply personal: each song, in its own unique way, reflects what I believe to be my musical identity. Each song is original in regard to the musical compositions and arrangements, except for Aghoshe Tu, the chorus of which was adapted from the talented Nigina Amonqulova’s beautiful song Aghosh. My goal with this project is to inspire meaningful change within the Afghan music scene while connecting with as many of my fellow brothers and sisters as possible through the universal language of music. This album represents a part of who I am as a lover of music, and I’m truly excited to share it with all of you.
