Jenna Dewan Says a Wardrobe Snag Messed Up Her Favorite Moment in a Near-Perfect Dancing with the Stars Tango Jenna Dewan had a big night on Dancing with the Stars. But she says one small snag still bothers her. On Tuesday, Oct. 27, Dewan, 45, and her pro partner, Val Chmerkovskiy, performed an Argentine tango on Horror Movie Night. Dewan says it is her favorite dance of the season. Judge Derek Hough called it “one of the best Argentine tangos I’ve ever seen on this floor.” Guest judge Shirley Ballas noticed “a little hiccup” when Dewan got caught on her dress. Dewan says her heel got stuck on her skirt. She says it messed up one of her favorite moments of the dance. “I’m a little mad,” she told PEOPLE. But she kept going. “Show goes on, you figure it out,” she said. The judges gave the pair a 37 out of 40. Chmerkovskiy said that without that moment, they might have been looking at a perfect score. “It wasn’t meant to be,” he said. The night was also a reunion. Chmerkovskiy had been suspended from the show for one week after his social media remarks. Alan Bersten danced with Dewan during Dedication Night. Chmerkovskiy returned to rehearsals the next day. Now the pair is through to next week. Chmerkovskiy says they have even more reason to show up.
