Thank you for reporting on this matter. As the wife of a disabled combat veteran who was with him since he raised his right hand to defend the constitution, I believe we need to block the arch.

Organizational leadership so often are a certain type of person. Bobbing and weaving one’s way to the top of a large org is often forced to be an inherently political endeavor. Appearing to please internal opposing interests when they should be building genuine consensus. The ones that live and breath up on capital hill are even worse. Do not trust them. Write bylaws that check actions from leaders that do not represent the membership’s voice. Empower mechanisms that constantly gather membership input. The question becomes now is this what their membership wants? Dunno.

There's a union representing teachers that says it backs a republican candidate, yet when a poll from the local news of teachers was polled and published the teachers want the democratic candidate. Crazy how the organization says one thing but the members say the opposite. Something is rotten within their community and the veteran community.
