@ohhappyrea: Part 1 - 86 yo cactus | Oldest plant rehabilitation to date! She is the sweetest customer & we will treat this holiday cactus with the utmost care. It’s important to note that these are jungle cacti—not desert cacti, so they need more water. #PlantTok #plantshop #planttips
My mom has a ficus she got when I was born, almost 37 years ago. She calls it “the Leah tree” and when it drops too many leaves she calls to make sure I’m ok. 💜

this is my great grandmother's cactus. My mom has it in a south window. We estimate it's 120-130 years old

I have a clipping from a snake plant that was repotted from my great grandmother. And she passed in the 1950's.

My great grandmother had one of these and it was at least 125 years old. MASSIVE! The cactus is still alive to this day. My grandma has been gone since June 2020. This picture doesn’t do justice. 🤍

My two (15 yr old plus) Christmas cactuses just decided 3 days ago to start to blossom in my western facing porch. I think I need to buy them a calendar and explain to them they should have held off 😂

I have no plants yet watched the whole thing and was mesmerized. Then realized you are 30 minutes from me! I may have to come up that way and learn some things. I need pet friendly indoor plants 😊

my mom has my great grandmas Christmas cactus I'm not sure how old it is but she's really good at keeping it alive. I got a Christmas cactus someone was getting rid of and I'm proud of the fact it bloomed the other day so hopefully one day I can inherit the Christmas cactus

I have a Pothos (actually several Pothos) that is a clipping from my mom's Pothos, which was from a clipping she got from her mom's Pothos which was from a clipping she got from her mom. That's the farthest we have been able to trace it back.

I inherited one that is around 100 years old and it is hanging on for dear life. Had it repotted and this is all that could be salvaged after being neglected for probably 20 years. It’s been in this state for almost 3 years and I cannot get it to grow. Could use any advice to bring this family heirloom back to life.
