@hotnew73: The Beach House Where Elizabeth Holmes Spent Her Last 34 Days of Freedom Is Now Worth an Estimated $9 Million Before she began an 11-year federal prison sentence, Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes spent her final 34 days of freedom in a small beach cottage in Del Mar, California. The home sits behind a security gate in a private community called Sandy Lane. It is just yards from the Pacific Ocean. A24’s documentary You Can See Everything was filmed there in 2023. Holmes invited cameras into her home life with her partner, William “Billy” Evans, and their two children. The film was co-directed by Lance Oppenheim and Nathan Fielder. According to property records obtained by PEOPLE, the house at 2986 Sandy Lane was built in 1948. A guesthouse on the property hosted Fielder during filming. Sandy Lane has just 14 luxury homes, according to a local realtor. SF Gate reported that a nearby five-bedroom home was listed earlier this year for just under $50 million. In the film, Fielder says the home is a rental. Its last advertised listing was in 2015, at $5,650 a month, according to Curbed. Property records show the home has been passed among relatives tied to the Bedell Living Trust since 1994. It is now owned by three members of the Bedell family. Zillow estimates the home is worth $9.2 million. But that is far smaller than where Holmes lived before. During her 2021 trial, CNBC reported that she and Evans lived on the grounds of Green Gables, a 74-acre estate in Woodside, California. It last sold for $85 million in September 2025. Which home would you rather spend your last month of freedom in? #elizabethholmes #youcanseeeverything #Theranos #delmar #nathanfielder
