Here are the key takeaways from the video:
• The Muscle vs. Tendon Relationship: The video uses the analogy that muscle is the "engine," while the tendon is the "cable" or "rope" that actually transmits that muscle force to the bone. It explains that having a large muscle doesn't guarantee strength if the tendon isn't strong enough to transfer that force efficiently.
• Tendon Adaptation: Tendons adapt much slower than muscles because they have less blood flow. While muscle growth happens quickly, tendons require consistent, long-term training to build stiffness and strength.
• Isometric Training: The primary method recommended for tendon training is isometric holds (producing force without moving the joint). The video suggests exercises like wall sits, mid-range push-up holds, and dead hangs, typically held for 30-45 seconds at a controlled effort level.
• Form and Safety: The video emphasizes the importance of maintaining proper form and breathing during isometric holds, warning against turning them into a "suffering contest" that can lead to injury.

Think of sprinting as another muscle that you should workout do reps would be the distance and sets how many you do, it trains the entire body to go when you want it to go so explosive strength, do not workout but train, go heavy if you have zero doubt in your form so your safe, at any point in the day you get a chance to do something physical do it and also calisthenics everyday regardless of soreness besides the legs and back, always be aware of your back first your neck second than your shoulders and than knees. Be carful and train like an animal loving the pain going slow through heavy sets simply to feel that grit. Your body will adapt over the span of years and you will be a unique human being that numbers in the thousands. Possibly hundreds

as someone who has had tendonitis pretty much everywhere at some point in the 25yr of training this post is 💯 accurate. to the newbies, incorporate tendon loading into your programme now.
