@janrigginsart: I feel like I say this a lot, but one of the best parts of what I do is getting to meet so many amazing people along the way! Everyone at the Weatherford office of Baird, Hampton and Brown was an absolute pleasure to work with. We collaborated on this design, and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out! Since their building is located on historic Main Street in Weatherford, I wanted the mural to feel like it belonged among the surrounding architecture. I incorporated trompe l’oeil storefront windows to complement the historic buildings, with a glimpse into the past featuring an early 1900s surveyor at work.
