I get why you hate it, but it IS a drag competition based around horror and the macabre, and you know it's part of the legend surrounding the film, even though we all know it's false. I understand why they added a hanging munchkin. Poor taste? yes. Fitting for the show? Also, yes.

I’m not sure I agree. It’s well known that nobody hanged themselves on the set of the wizard of oz, it’s more of a creepypasta rather than something that people genuinely believe in imo. I don’t think that the performer really believed in that myth, it was more of a macabre reference which I think was really bleak but also really funny

I wasn't too keen on the wheeler as it didn't meet the challenge criteria in my opinion. they were told to create an original look inspired by Oz but the wheeler was an exact match. still excellent crafting though

i saw the episode! i believe the queen in question, Annie Agirl, likely knew the myth was debunked/not actually real but likely still pulled that as inspiration from greater oz "lore" so to speak. Considering the show's tenants of filth, horror, and glamour, while I can see it being in poor taste to some, I think the artist had an underatanding and merely wanted to increase the horror element of their floorshow

you are of course entitled to your opinion, but could it be that you didn't like it because it wasn't accurate, and not because of it actually been in poor taste? I think that even though it was just a myth it entered the public consciousness as a sort of urban legend and I think that's worth something
