I am 100% on board with this. there is just one issue... RG&E and NYSEG have spent so long NOT adding, updating and replacing the grid that the start up cost of this public utility will be HUGE. so the state will have to claw back some of our money that both companies were supposed to be spending on improvements and maintenance. Otherwise, rates will be high because we're paying AGAIN to fix the grid.

Worked for them when it was RGE owned. Those were great times. Left after 21yrs. When nyseg took over. The writing was on the wall I left. Best thing I could have done!
