Girl!! My sons teacher is amazing. We even had a field trip yesterday with a bunch of first graders and not one meltdown happened cause she’s the best teacher

We have the fun of no costumes for students on Friday, we’re having a Color Wars Spirit Day instead where each grade wears a different Halloween color. The kids are a touch in their feels about it, especially because staff are allowed to wear costumes. I got home yesterday, went to my room and loudly announced “Bubble of Silence” like a wizard casting a spell because my neurodivergent 19-year-old will talk my head off but I needed a little bit of time to decompress from the day first. I got that peace because we respect boundaries in this house, and he knows I'd be ready to listen when I had a little break.
