Etymology is Not Occurrence"
Christians argue that the literal text of the Quran still never explicitly names Yahweh as God.
• The Distinction: While it is true that the Arabic forms of the names (Zakariya, Yahya, Isa, Ilyas) structurally originate from Hebrew names meaning something about "Yahweh," the Quranic text itself uses them purely as personal identifiers for the men, not as a revelation of God's name.
• The Analogy: If a person's name is Christopher (which means "bearer of Christ"), mentioning them in a book does not mean the book explicitly preaches or contains the message of Christ. It just means you are addressing that specific person by their name.
2. The Theological Contradiction of Isa (Jesus)
The strongest Christian counter-argument relies on the name Isa (Jesus).
• The Meaning: As the video notes, the Hebrew name for Jesus (Yeshua) explicitly means "Yahweh is salvation" or "Yahweh saves."
• The Contradiction: Mainstream Islamic theology firmly rejects the idea that Jesus is the savior of mankind or that his death brought salvation. Instead, Islamic doctrine states that Jesus was a prophet who was raised to heaven, and that salvation comes through submission to Allah alone.
• The Christian Verdict: Christians argue that if the Quran "knows" the Tetragrammaton through these names, it is accidentally affirming a theology it explicitly denies. They will ask: "If the name Isa is preserved to prove the Quran knows the name Yahweh, why does the Quran deny the literal meaning of that name—that Yahweh saves through Jesus?" And also when did the Quran it just state Yahweh in Quran just Yahweh not meanings of names

It only establishes that something that sounds like “Yah” or “Yoh” was a covenantal name of God given to israel. Not necessarily “YHWH”. In fact there is an angel with this name YHWH

If I may correct you, my Jewish friend calls YHWH “Jehovah,” not “Yahweh.” “Yahweh” is a Christian conjecture about how to pronounce YHWH, a name that is very sacred to Jews 🙏
