The blows just keep coming….quite literally.💨 Friday, I walked out of my conference to a flat tire. Today, my PICC line clogged and earned me a six-hour visit to the emergency room.🚨 Since Friday, I’ve had CAIN’s new song, My Victory’s Coming, playing on repeat. When I saw that flat tire, I jokingly texted Kim, “Maybe my victory is coming tomorrow.”🤷🏼‍♀️ Then today, as I sat in an ER waiting room surrounded by coughing, hacking and every germ known to mankind, I thought, “Okay…maybe my victory is coming tomorrow.” 😂🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️ And if tomorrow brings another blow, I’ll tell myself again: My victory IS coming.🙌🏻 This sermon put words to exactly how I’ve been feeling. Sometimes the flat tire….the frustrating, inconvenient, downright crappy situation 🙄 is the very thing God uses to place us directly in someone else’s path.🫶🏼 Hospitals can be dark places, so every time I’m there, I try to bring a little light with me. If I can make a nurse’s 12-hour shift a little brighter, listen to someone walking through a painful divorce, or make the custodian’s day by sharing a few pieces of candy…then so be it.💞 This is not a merry-go-round I ever intended to ride indefinitely, and lately it feels like I just cannot get off. 🎠 I have had more hard days in the last ten days than I care to count.❤️‍🩹 But God keeps showing His face. He keeps giving me little glimpses of who He created me to be and reminding me that even here….especially here…I am still walking in His purpose and plan for my life.💝🙌🏻 So I will keep shining His light.✨ I will keep praising Him through the storm.🙌🏻🌊 And whether it comes tomorrow, next week or much farther down the road, I will keep declaring it: MY VICTORY’S COMING. 🙌🏼 #myvictoryscoming #faith #amputee #journey #blessing
