Kevin T. Solomon :
This is proof that macOS will run perfectly on the iPad.

This is not the move. I’ve always backed Apple for being so smart about their products and implementation, but this doesn’t make any sense. The amount of fatigue and smears on people’s screens are going to be terrible.

Imo it’s useful if you forget a key command and are like “fk it, touchscreen mode real quick.” Some people are acting like you’re obligated to use it 24/7

There’s not a situation where I’d need to be touching the screen when editing. Trackpad is a lot faster and more efficient. 😭

Yeaa. No. 😂 if I’m buying this it’s because of oled screen for color grading. Not drag and drop. 😭🙏🏾

it would be more exciting if the screen could be folded and positioned like a tablet

why would they add a touchscreen if the display can’t lay flat? I’m a designer and would use something like this for editing, I just don’t appreciate the ergonomics of this. It’s like they put it there just because.

It’s an iPad with a keyboard you can’t take off, good luck with your arm while editing for more than 10 mins.

iPad sales were going down so they finally decided to release this. I had a touchscreen foldable laptop in 2018 the acer spin 3.
