The ending is goated. Nazuna and Ko do end up staying together in the end. If you go back and reread chapter 200 you'll realize that when Ko arrives to where Nazuna is he has found solutions to every single problem that they had that stopped them from being together (Nazuna cant control herself > Ko got stronger. Nazuna needs blood > Ko gives her his blood in packs). On top of that, Ko told her if she ever ran off again he'll js find her over and over. Despite what Ko said, she wont run off again because Nazuna met that vampire in the forest who hid from her lover for 50 years, and realized that hiding away from Ko wont help anything, because after all that time the forest vampire still loves her human lover and even more since she hid away. Nazuna would've ended up exactly like that forest vampire if she had hid from Ko, alone, sad, and longing for that love. The entire thing of Nazuna saying "lets play tag forever" was just another dumb joke she tells to Ko, like whenever she would tell him "Just the tip". Even so, Ko is skeptical about that joke and in most translations even outright rejects it in a way. Another thing is that Nazuna would have to return to Japan to see all the photos they took. I love/hate Kotoyama, I mainly hate that he decided to make the ending so open to interpretation that if you dont interpret it you wont ever figure out. Main point, Nazuna and Ko stay together, and i like to believe, that at some point she ends up biting him and nothing happens, revealing that his half vamp state is already his full transformation, because nazuna is only a born half vampire (vamp mother, human father) so she can only turn people half vamp, which would mean, that ko loved her for a while now.
