@lindsaynaykole: Your identity changed when you became a child of God! 🙌🏾 My last name is Moore because my (grand)father’s a Moore. In the same way, when I became born again, I received a new identity through my Heavenly Father! 2 Corinthians 5:17 tells us that if anyone is in Christ, they are a new creation. And 2 Corinthians 5:21 reminds us that we have been made the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus! I’m no longer a sinner trying to become righteous. I’m the righteousness of God in Christ! That doesn’t mean I never make mistakes, but my mistakes don’t define who I am. Stop identifying yourself by who you used to be and start identifying yourself according to God’s Word! If you know who you are in Christ, comment NEW CREATION! ❤️ #IdentityInChrist #NewCreation #RighteousnessOfGod #ChristianTikTok #christian
