@inventingelizabeth2: Replying to @Bombshell522 Why was it okay for her to lie but the truth is wrong? Short memories and different standards depending on who the victim is. Sad, but I’ll never stop standing up for what’s right. More importantly, I’ll continue teaching my daughters that you never have to stay silent in the face of abuse, harassment, or bullying! #lies #truth #inventingelizabeth2 #morethanelizabeth #netflix

giving birth does not make you a mother. this woman has chosen not to be her children's mother. I don't understand why anyone would take Elizabeth side for any reason.

Na, if the girls see all of this on Social Media, that’s not a bad thing. They’ll see their “mom” is scm, and their father fought for them.

It’s too bad people only see and hear what they want. If you were a female nobody would question a thing you’re doing to “get over it”. Creating a safe, loving and stable home for the girls has always been your top priority.

I hate when ppl say this. It’s so incredibly harmful to children of abuse. Being told countless times as a kid “but she’s still your mom” led to a subconscious belief that abuse=love and led to me being with a narcissist just like her before I woke up and realized the truth. No one is perfect but by you handling things the way you did, they’re never going to have to deal with that. You’re showing them they deserve so much more and to fight for their worth. You’re teaching them to observe behaviors instead of taking someone’s words at face value. They won’t realize it now or tomorrow, but those lessons will stick with them for life.

People who say stuff like she’s “still their mother” are either manipulators or being manipulated. Bad people aren’t owed shit just because they birthed a child.

“Still their mother” is toxic. They’re going to see that you stood up for them and protected them. They’re gonna see their “mother” choose everything and everyone but them. But they don’t have to worry about their mom opening bills and credit cards in their name. They won’t grow up with their mom feeding them lies about why she isn’t their because SHE documented herself not choosing her kids.

Something that really stands out to me is how differently this conversation would go if the genders were reversed. A woman sharing these experiences about her ex-husband would be encouraged to speak her truth, and rightfully so. Her children having access to social media someday wouldn't automatically mean she should have to stay silent about what she experienced. The children's well-being matters, absolutely, but so does acknowledging that men can be victims of abuse, manipulation, and financial exploitation, too.

Yeah. She is not a mother. When are people going to learn to mind their own business and not give parenting advice? Unless it’s to actually show up and BE a parent. Out of the two of you,
