From the q&a on the nike run...The Nike After Dark Tour was built for women and is powered by Nike. The tour was created to invite more women into sport, fostering a sense of community and self-expression. While all runners are welcome, all participants are encouraged to embrace and celebrate the intent of the race. ( supporting and challenging) plus 2 female and 2 male coaches were promoted as well... its a supportive run.. this negativity isnt needed since its clear on who can join.
