She wasn't his mom, he still SO new to the family. And fostering or adopting older kids is not an easy road because so many kids have so much baggage and so many walls it takes a while to break through. Should they be soft on him, no. But they should have an understanding that thus wasn't going to be easy and to work together with consistency for him. Is he a fucking pill, absolutely. But the "Your mom" comment i find weird.
