@philippinestar: Janine Gutierrez and Charlie Dizon, who play a couple in the upcoming Netflix horror series “Balaraw,” share what made them say “yes” to the project. “I'm really a fan of Filipino folklore, thrillers, and horror... To be part of ‘Balaraw,’ na 'yun 'yung theme... super excited talaga ako from the start,” said Janine. “Horror siya pero hindi for the sake na manakot, parang more on mystery, may family drama rin. First time ko rin na may girlfriend,” Charlie added in jest. The Filipino mystery-thriller series, directed by Rae Red, follows Sabina (Janine) and her girlfriend Bulak (Charlie) as they explore a dangerous, uncharted island to uncover the truth behind Sabina’s mother’s mysterious disappearance. Also starring Agot Isidro, Ronnie Lazaro, Nonie Buencamino, and Romnick Sarmenta, “Balaraw” premieres on Netflix on Thursday, October 29. | via @Nathalie Tomada/The Philippine STAR 🎥 Netflix Philippines #janinegutierrez #charliedizon #balaraw #netflix #EntertainmentNewsPH
