not an ex but I had my sister's ex blocked after many rants and ramblings I didn't care for. it's important to note he has been told he needed to leave his house by the end of the month and had no job. he had caused a scene with my sister on the morning of Thanksgiving, so I spent the whole evening unblocking him just to send him photos of tents and then blocking him again.

Idk if it counts as ME breaking no contact but I needed to answer a security question to recover my Xbox live account on the phone. The question was what my anniversary was, except I hadn't been with that guy for at least 3 years. My man at the time was part of old dude's circle so while I stayed on the phone with Xbox my new man called my old man and asked what our anniversary had been. He remembered of course, we were able to recover my account and I still have my xbox live 14 years after this incident.
