@hazelmae.medical: Something as simple as taking daily medication can become dangerous in seconds. Hazel struggles with swallowing, and sometimes even liquid medication causes her to choke and struggle to breathe. This happens more often than people realize. Thankfully, we know how to respond, but that doesn’t make these moments any less scary. This is a side of medical complexity that most people never see. ❤️ #epilepsy #cdg #medical #rare

My daughter has seizures. She was on a certain medication and it was poisoning her mind and body till finally she became swollen and all her limbs and we had to take her to the the hospital it’s a medicine that we’ve been giving her for the past three years and she was just like that she would easily throw up and now she’s a total different person. You might want to take her to the neurologist and ask for maybe a change of Medicine

Have the doctors not suggested a feeding tube? my daughtet has had one since she was 2. it has saved het life many times over. She gets her nutrition, medications, and hydration even when she is ill and can't eat by mouth.

Have you thought of a g tube? My daughter had one as she has Rett Syndrome. Her swallowing became non existent with time and just wasn’t safe anymore. Wanted to make sure we protect her airway and lungs.
