@youmeusalways: monday i was fine. like genuinely fine, cleaning my room, singing in the car, telling my friend i was over it. tuesday i couldn't get out of bed, crying in the shower because i saw his name on a coffee cup. wednesday i was fine again, laughing at work. thursday i felt like i'd been hit by a truck. that's been my whole month. it's not that i'm not trying. it's that my feelings don't follow a schedule. people see the good days and assume i'm healed, then catch me on a bad one and think i'm falling apart. i'm neither. i'm just somewhere in the middle, moving back and forth. but i'm noticing the fine days are getting a little longer. the bad ones a little shorter. that's enough for now. i'll keep going.
