@eton7051: The Immaculate Conception is a Roman Catholic dogma defining that the Virgin Mary was preserved free from all stain of original sin from the very first moment of her conception, an act of pure, preventative divine grace made possible entirely through the preemptive application of Jesus Christ’s future merits on the Cross. This doctrine does not refer to Christ's virginal birth, but rather to Mary's own biological origin in the womb of her mother, St. Anne, where she was uniquely redeemed by God prior to ever contracting the fallen human nature inherited from Adam. A robust defense of this dogma relies heavily on biblical, typological, and logical frameworks: scripturally, the angel Gabriel greets Mary in Luke 1:28 with the unique Greek title kecharitomene ("full of grace"), a perfect passive participle indicating that she had already been completely and permanently filled with divine grace prior to the incarnation, a state of spiritual perfection entirely incompatible with the presence of sin. Typologically, Mary is revealed as the New Ark of the Covenant; just as the Old Testament Ark was crafted from the purest, incorruptible acacia wood and overlaid with pure gold to house the presence of God, it is profoundly fitting that the living woman who carried the incarnate Word of God within her womb would be preserved from the spiritual corruption of humanity's fall. Furthermore, Genesis 3:15 establishes a prophetic, absolute "enmity" or total opposition between the serpent and the woman, a complete separation from evil that would be fundamentally compromised if Mary had ever spent even a single moment under the dominion of original sin. This theological necessity was masterfully synthesized by the medieval theologian Blessed John Duns Scotus through the logical maxim decuit, potuit, fecit—it was fitting that Christ should perfectly honor His mother by shielding her from the stain of sin, God possessed the absolute power to apply His timeless grace retroactively outside of human history, and therefore, He did it. #christianity #fyp #viral #Catholicism #Protestant

Jesus is the only sinless one to walk the earth. Mary was not perfect. Nor was Joseph or Jesus half brother James. Only Jesus.

If she was sinless, as you claim, why did we need Christ? If Mary fulfilled the law, why did Christ need to sacrifice himself for our sin? Mary fulfilled the law and and her death, as a perfect sinless person, would have been enough for salvation. She was a human like everyone that has ever lived. Are you saying that a regular human can be perfect and fulfill the law? That’s heresy

Point blank : Kecharitōmenē implies that Mary had received God's grace before the angel spoke to her and remained in that graced state at the time of the Annunciation. It does not, by Greek grammar alone, prove that she was sinless throughout her entire life or from the moment of her conception. Your church made the rest up to build a 4th God in heaven to worship

I HAVE ABSOLUTE PROOF THAT ROMAN CATHOLICS EXISTED AS EARLY AS THE GOSPELS… PROVEN BY SCRIPTURE ITSELF: Luke 11:27–28 — Legacy Standard Bible (LSB) 27 Now it happened that while Jesus was saying these things, one of the women in the crowd raised her voice and said to Him, “Blessed is the womb that bore You and the breasts at which You nursed.” 28 But He said, “On the contrary, blessed are those who hear the word of God and keep it.” 🫣🤣 NOTICE HOW JESUS QUICKLY REJECTED, AND CORRECTED THIS ROMAN CATHOLIC WOMAN 😏 FROM HAVING FOCUS ON MARY AND REDIRECTING THE FOCUS BACK ON GOD ALONE! 🤣 I mean… this could have been a great opportunity for Jesus to validate or emphasize the importance and reverence for the so called “QUEEN OF HEAVEN”… but on the “CONTRARY”, Jesus rebukes the very idea of this type of thinking 🤯🙌🥳🫡!!! Oh, and by the way… when Jesus says “ON THE CONTRARY”, it means exactly the same thing as the original Greek rendering like this: μενοῦν — menoûn Definition: “Rather; on the contrary; nay, rather.” It introduces a corrective response to what was previously said. I LOVE AND RESPECT MOTHER MARY… CLEARLY SPECIAL, FAVORED, BLESSED, FULL OF GRACE AMONGST SINNERS… BUT C’MON CATHY’S 🙄 WHAT YOU DO IS CALLED WORSHIP AND IDOL WORSHIP BY EVERY DEFINITION OF THE CONCEPT, “MOST IMPORTANTLY, GOD’S DEFINITION”REDEFINING IT IN ORDER TO JUSTIFY IT, WHILE STILL PRACTICING IT ALL THE SAME DOESN’T CHANGE WHAT IT IS🤷‍♂️!!! Read your history… YOUR OWN CATHOLIC RECORDINGS, ACKNOWLEDGE THE FOLLOWING, AND TRIED TO FIGHT AGAINST IT AND OPPOSED IT!Just study by itself Roman religion between 100 - 500AD… you will see almost the exact insane parallels of idol worship that clearly eventually got adapted and adopted into the ROMAN CATHOLIC worship practices it’s so similar you almost wouldn’t know the difference! Right after christianity was legalized within the third century the church was flooded with Greco Romans, and after that idol worship snowballed… now the pagan Roman religion got woven into what they now call apostolic tradition!

🤣🤣🤣 I didn’t know being favored by God, your sinless. I guess Jesus came for nothing since Mary could’ve just died for us.
