Vicks isn’t as strong as it was when I was a kid. It was put on the chest and around the nose. The menthol fumes had my eyes watering and my chest/back would be warmed. It helped you breathe at night. Today’s Vicks is just minty Vaseline.

I used to bawl when my parents put it under my nose as we didn't understand sensory issues back in the day but when the cold hold me these days,I does even be putting it on my scalp as my dad's mum used to say it works
