Mythologically, a vampire is the embodiment of corruption. By doing anything other than slamming the door in its face is to allow one's heart to be corrupted. Now, some may argue something like "what about redemption? what about saving its soul?", for which I would argue the embodiment of a thing is still just the thing. It's entirely possible to redeem a corrupt person/soul but you cannot get rid of corruption as a concept, which is what a vampire is; a concept. Also, absolutely allow redemption to save a soul... But a vampire mythologically doesn't have one.
So, a vampire is an idea, an idea has no soul, things with no souls need no salvation. banish the vampire.

Fibrofighter Kerry :
Ooh, I love this as a thought experiment! Personally, I'd welcome Dracula in. After all, don't we all "drink of His blood" anyway? 🤣
