@dad6559: IF THE DUKE WAS YOUR CHILDHOOD HERO, SAY YES IN 2026! Before superheroes in capes, we had a hero in a cowboy hat. For many of us growing up in the 60s, 70s, and 80s, Saturday afternoon meant one thing: John Wayne on TV. We watched him fight for justice in Rio Bravo (1959), we watched him cry in The Searchers (1956), we watched him teach us how to be a man without ever shouting. John Wayne taught a generation of boys that a real man is tough but kind, strong but fair. He taught us to remove our hat when we talk to a lady and to never leave a friend behind. If you grew up pretending your broomstick was a horse because of John Wayne, this post is for you.
