@classics.journey: Dax Shepard is looking back at his brief romance with Kate Hudson, revealing how he tried to win her over while she was still married. During the October 28 episode of his Armchair Expert podcast, the 51-year-old actor recalled meeting Hudson in 2007 at her brother Oliver’s house during a poker night. At the time, the Almost Famous star was still married to Black Crowes singer Chris Robinson. Shepard admitted he gave Hudson all the charm he had, explaining that he was completely captivated by her beauty and loved her work. But he knew she was married, and his first attempt didn’t lead to a relationship. “I mean, she's married, who cares?” he recalled thinking afterward. Still, he joked that it had been “a great first showing.” Then, everything changed. After Hudson finalized her divorce in 2007, Shepard met her again at a dinner party in Malibu. This time, she was single, and he decided to try his luck once more. According to Shepard, the second attempt worked. He said they began spending every day together after that night, and their romance quickly became serious. The relationship lasted about three months, but both stars eventually moved on. Shepard later married actress Kristen Bell, with whom he shares two daughters. Hudson, meanwhile, has been engaged to Danny Fujikawa since 2021. Looking back, Shepard’s story shows how a missed opportunity can sometimes turn into an unexpected chapter—though timing can make all the difference. Do you think Dax was simply being honest about his feelings, or should he have kept his distance until Kate was single? \#DaxShepard #KateHudson #CelebrityRelationships #HollywoodNews #celebritynews
