100% a David x Michael shipper 😤 My all time favourite film, it's so 80s and cheesy but also stunning vampire make up and horror 🥹 It deserves it's flowers. I hope the musical comes to the UK eventually, as I am not in a position to go to the US to see it 😭

Not to say The Lost Boys wasn’t pivotal for queer vampire media but it wasn’t the first on screen queer vampire movie!! Disregarding subtextual analysis of earlier films, the 1983 film The Hunger is explicitly bisexual and has both Susan Sarandon and David Bowie!! It’s def worth a watch!!
