I spend my weekends out in the countryside at a big house with a bunch of friends. One friend has. 14 year old, and another has two kids, 10 and 5. These three kids run around together for HOURS every day, playing games. They’ve been doing it like this since before the little one was even born. It was a bit rough when the little one was like 3, because he was always yelling “wait for me!” Because he wasn’t as fast, but the big kids did eventually learn they need to slow down to make sure he’s included. And the 14 year old? It’s so cute to see her get to play and be a kid every weekend, even if she’s all about make up and gossip with her friends on the weekdays. I think an age gap can be really great.
