Hi 10c recycling worker here, it’s not Aussie, it’s just government funded, one of the company’s that does it (the ones you are specifically talking about) is actually international 😁 (the company I work for)

My can stash rn. We have a bulk facility in our town, where you can dump in multiple loads and the machine counts them. This amount would take about 10 mins and most of that is just tearing open the cartons and flattening them. The workers even usually take the cardboard for us 😁 that’s about $66 worth of cans in that pic
