Well, that is what happened to a little boy named Nevada Pierre in Florida, United States. According to his mother, the disagreement started when other parents complained that Nevada was dominating the game and their children were not getting enough opportunities to touch the ball. She says the coaches began limiting his playing time, and when his parents questioned the treatment, an argument followed. The league director tells a different story. He claims Nevada was pushing other children and that his parents became argumentative when officials tried to intervene. Now, here is where things escalated. The league director called the police, reporting a disturbance involving the parents. Officers arrived, but they found no criminal matter. Nobody was arrested, and the family was not legally removed from the public park. However, the league decided that Nevada could no longer participate and offered to refund the registration fee. The family says the money was returned. The organisation has since launched a review of the incident. But here is my question. If this disagreement was between adults, why should a three-year-old lose his place in a football programme? Because at that age, children should be learning, having fun and developing their talents. Other children deserve opportunities to participate, absolutely. But shouldn't the adults find a way to encourage everyone without discouraging a child who is already showing exceptional ability?
