That girl was only 19 when she was tortured and murdered in 1995. She had a whole life ahead of her, and she deserved to live it. I can acknowledge somebody’s childhood trauma and still ask, “What about the trauma Colleen suffered—and what her family has carried all these years?” Because baby, Colleen’s story cannot get lost in all this conversation about Christa.
