@iltv_israel: Israel's Central Elections Committee chief, Supreme Court Justice Noam Sohlberg, has instructed the Shin Bet to investigate suspected foreign funding and electoral bribery following Tuesday's election. According to Hebrew media reports, Netanyahu's Likud party suspects Qatar and Turkey of financing organizations working to increase Arab voter turnout, although no public evidence has been presented to support the allegations. National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir has called for the arrest of implicated Arab party leaders if legal grounds exist. Yashar leader Gadi Eisenkot warned that the allegations must not be used to delay the swearing-in of the 26th Knesset, while Yisrael Beytenu chairman Avigdor Liberman demanded a swift investigation. The dispute follows Likud's claims that Arab parties had “stolen” the election after Netanyahu's bloc lost its parliamentary majority, allegations police said were unsupported by evidence.
