3. Use your weekly day off strategically.
If the company cannot accommodate your working hours, ask whether the interview can be scheduled on your weekly day off.
I understand that this is usually weekends and the recruiter might not agree.
Then you can discuss with your team to work during your weekly off and take the interview date off instead.
Or discuss with your colleague and exchange.
But never tell them you are going for an interview.
If you have several interviews, try to arrange them on the same day to avoid repeatedly requesting time off from your current employer.

Men Bible Careers 🇦🇪 :
1. Interview timings are not always final.
There's a chance that the recruiter might be flexible and adjust.
One option is to request an online interview.
If the interview is in person, politely ask whether the first round can be conducted online via Microsoft Teams, Zoom, or a phone call.
You may be able to attend the interview from home before work, after work, or during an approved break.
If you pass the first round, you can then arrange a suitable time for the next stage.

Men Bible Careers 🇦🇪 :
Do not jeopardize your current job while trying to secure another one.
Use your annual leave strategically, negotiate interview times, and resign only when you have carefully reviewed your new offer.
You can look for a better job while protecting the one that currently pays your bills.
Don't lose on both sides.

2. Request an interview outside your working hours.
Contact the recruiter and explain that you are currently employed and cannot easily take time off.
I have done this many times and it works.
Ask if they can arrange the interview early in the morning, after work, or during your lunch break.
Many recruiters will understand, especially if you are transparent and communicate professionally.
The key is to be professional instead of missing the interview and giving excuses later.
