I’d leave it enabled,If you mean High Precision Event Timerturning it off isn’t a reliable way to make your PC faster. Windows checks the available hardware and automatically chooses a suitable timing source. Having HPET listed in Device Manager doesn’t mean Windows uses it for all timing.
