@1sankubaba: The tradition of worshipping the Living Goddess Kumari holds a special place in Nepal’s Newar culture. For generations, the Kumari has been honoured as a symbol of divine feminine power, with rituals and celebrations that reflect the deep faith and traditions of the Newar community. During nawami my daughter had the opportunity to dress as Kumari and symbolically represent the Living Goddess.
