@randomredengine5: I’ve gotten the chance to see some of these locomotives in real life. Canadian National 3254, 47, CP 2317 (basically all the former excursion stars that are at steamtown) as well as 7002 and 1223 at the railroad museum of Pennsylvania. And reading 1187. One of my favorite steam locomotives ever. Hopefully all of these locomotives will return to steam one day but for now. They’re all in a safe place and being taken care of. (Ok maybe not all of them) but hopefully Canadian National 47 gets restored to operation cause it’s really sad seeing it slowly rust away. #pennsylvaniarailroad #steamlocomotives #excursiontrain #americanfreedomtrain #grandtrunkwestern

734 isnt retired, I'm pretty sure shes getting her 1472 but she is coming back. 1361 is being restored to run again. 610 is mechanicly sound and her owners have stated that they are willing to lease her to someone with the capacity to run her. Its simmilar to whats happened with 4449.
