Making season 2’s color palette different was perfect. It was a very different story with different themes. The colors for each season work better for their own respective stories.

Anyone saying season 2 isn’t cyberpunk is straight larping. Every scene is modeled streight form the game, season 1 was set in Haywood, japantown and the main corpo district with some Santo Domingo in the first eps for his origin, whereas season 2 is allot more in Watson which isn’t as flashy as any of throes districts it’s the starter zone of the game litterally

I think they meant to show the different lifestyle. One is for a nomad, all desert and bright / total darkness. Streetkid is obviously more cyberpunk.
